i'm quite positive we'll have him back by the next game.. he was on the bench during the weekend & he's not involved with national team.. he'll be in good shape..

Skipper returns home

Club captain Gary Neville has flown home to Manchester after picking up a minor groin strain on the Reds' Asia Tour.

The United right-back trained at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on Thursday, but left his team-mates in Korea on Friday and will miss the final two Asia Tour matches (against FC Seoul and Hangzhou Greentown), as well as the Audi Cup.

Sir Alex says Neville will be treated at Carrington over the next week or so and could be available for either the Valencia friendly at Old Trafford on 5 August or the Community Shield clash with Chelsea at Wembley four days later.

"It made sense for Gary to head home to start getting treatment at Carrington," the boss told MUTV. "We're hoping he'll be ready in about 10 days."

The England international was an unused substitute in United's first tour game before getting 62 minutes under his belt against a Malaysia XI on Monday night.
